Maplewood Huskies Basketball

Maplewood Academy offers varsity basketball for both guys and girls. The Maplewood Huskies have the opportunity to play the alumni game, three other schools in our region, and travel to two tournaments to play against other schools in the Mid America Union.

Being a part of the Maplewood Academy Huskies basketball programs allows students to fulfill our school seal by being sealed in Jesus Christ physically though friendship and ministry to one another, sister adventist schools, and relationships created with non-adventist schools. The program requires hard work as well responsibility, endurance, team work, and academic and citizenship excellence. Huskies take pride in themselves as well as their Maplewood.

This past season the Huskies traveled to Enterprise Kansas in November for the Enterprise Academy invitational where our guys team brought home a second place trophy.

Then in February, the Huskies traveled to the annual Mid America Union Basketball tournament at Union College, where our girls team brought home a second place trophy as well. Congratulations to both Huskies and Lady Huskies on a excellent season!
