My life has been immersed in music. Singing together with my family has always been one of my greatest joys in life. Sabbaths in our home, or my grandparent’s homes or Saturday night sing-a-longs at family reunions always became infused with song. Even Sabbaths in the Boundary Waters were enhanced with song.
In my first eighteen years of teaching experience in Bemidji, MN at the elementary school, my wife, Leah, and I prioritized music in worships and programs. We, then, moved to Minnetonka Christian Academy for seven years where we helped grow the music department. Our next adventure was Wisconsin Academy where I was the music teacher for eleven years, before we moved to Campion Academy where I taught Bible at the academy and bells at the grade school.
Born and raised in Hutchinson, MN, I am returning home to do what I am passionate about, make music that lifts us into God’s throne room, in cooperation with students He has blessed us with at my alma mater, Maplewood Academy.
