Bible Teacher, Chaplain & Campus Ministries
Jane de França serves as the Bible Teacher, Chaplain, and Campus Ministries Director at Maplewood Academy. With over 15 years of experience in education and ministry, she has taught in a variety of educational settings, including academies, Korean language schools, and an international English school, where she had the opportunity to teach students from different countries and with various cultural backgrounds. Her journey later took her to Japan, where she spent almost five years teaching English and serving in a cross-cultural setting.
Jane and her husband prayerfully accepted the call to serve at Maplewood Academy, where she considers it a blessing to serve the MWA community. Her passion is helping students experience the love of Christ while growing both academically and spiritually. As a teacher and chaplain, she seeks to support, pray with, and walk alongside students as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Outside the classroom and ministry, Jane treasures spending time with her husband and their beautiful one-year-old daughter, Gabi. She enjoys watercolor painting, photography, and videography, and she is currently learning sewing. She also loves spending time with friends and visiting places with them.
Jane looks forward to seeing what God has in store for Maplewood Academy and its students as they continue to learn, grow, serve, and walk together in faith.
