Jeremy is the Principal of Maplewood Academy. He is a graduate of Andrews University, where he studied history with a minor in geography. In 2002 Jeremy began serving as a missionary in Russia, then Taiwan. While there, Jeremy was part of the original administrative team that developed and opened Taiwan Adventist International School. His main goal in life is to fully trust God and walk where He leads.
Jeremy is married to Summer Chung, whom he met while serving in Taiwan. Summer received her master’s degree in Arts and Heritage Management from Sheffield University in the U.K. Summer was instrumental in helping Taiwan Adventist International School in gaining a special recognition for TAIS as an experimental program, the first of its kind, from the Taiwanese government.
Their son Evan, 8, will be a third-grader at Northwoods Elementary School for the coming school year.
They are greatly appreciative of the warm Hutchinson welcome they received as they were making the transition to moving to the States from Taiwan.
